Nitendo 3DS

Earlier reports that 3DS price in Japan was dropped by 40%, not long enough Nintendo announced the same price-cut in the United States. The 3DS Is available for only $169.99 from its original price tag of $249.99. If you’ll notice that it almost hit the price level of the DSi with just $20 on its glasses-free 3D functionality. We get Nintendo’s initiative to broaden 3DS market so buyers would likely to grab the 3DS over the DSi.

But if you’ll be asking us, what if you have already own the 3DS? You are part of the first 830,000 3DS customers in the US that paid the higher price, Nintendo will call you “Nintendo 3DS Ambassadors” rewarding you with 20 free downloadable games.

These free games are available to anyone who owns a Nintendo 3DS system and uses a wireless broadband Internet signal to connect to the Nintendo eShop. These users will automatically be registered in the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador program.

The Japanese company also highlighted that it has released many new 3DS game titles for this holiday season. Star Fox 64 3D arrives, followed by Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus.
