In a report by Wall Street Journal citing its sources familiar with the matter, Sony will unveil the next generation PlayStation on February 20.
Earlier, Sony has already sent invites
for an official event on the said date, however, the company is still in
secrecy on what exactly will be revealed, instead the greater hint will
be it’s taunting about “see the future” of PlayStation.
WSJ’s reliable sources
added that Sony will start selling the new PlayStation later this year
perfect for the Holidays and exactly timing to compete for Microsoft’s
rumored new gaming console that will be released also on same period.

earlier, that will feature new AMD CPU and GPU replacing the old
computing architecture of the old model though it will still have an
optical drive.
