It’s not about the number of cores or
the blazing clock speed would beat Apple’s iPhone 5 but the optimization
between its software and hardware components. Each part of the iPhone 5
was built around iOS 6, giving all the luxury of optimizing each
component on both sides making the device the fastest smartphone in the
market nowadays without running on quad core processor.

The next iPhone-like smartphone could come from Motorola?
Google now runs Motorola –where Androids came from. So the probability of a device barely optimized and built around the latest version of Android could come in the near future. The RAZR line has the greatest opportunities as it has been on Moto’s sleeves back from the days where mobile phones were just two liners. And recently, Motorola seemed to have the RAZR backed with new offerings including the RAZRi.
Motorola RAZR™ i with Intel Inside® is
the new full-screen smartphone that fits in the palm of your hand. Its
Super AMOLED Advanced 4.3-inch display spans from edge-to-edge with
virtually no border – giving you more screen with less phone. RAZR i is
the first smartphone that can achieve speeds of 2.0 GHz thanks to a fast
Intel® Atom™ processor.
What needs to be done?
The Android apps’ ecosystem has been expanding wildly to cater almost all titles available in Apple Apps Store, but still the company needs extra effort to have most of the major titles get on their listings on the day it’ll be available on the Apple’s App Store. We don’t want the scenario that an App will be made popular on iOS devices first, and then it would take 2-3 months before it hit Google Play –probably the reverted scenario.
Keep on compensating from new
technologies which Apple think irrelevant and too new to be relevant for
its users. Motorola can add that new irrelevant technologies that in
the long run will be key features –a worthy investment, then built a
device around Android OS.
It’s not wrong to take the successful path of Apple, for Motorola to create its own successful footprints.
