Samsung is well known for their line of Galaxy S phones. The Samsung Epic 4G is a phone from this family of Galaxy S phones.
However, the Samsung Epic 4G is a bit different to its cousins. For one,
the Samsung Epic 4G comes with a physical keyboard as well as front
facing camera. The keys on the keyboard are spaced nicely and easily
clicked. Users may opt to use the physical keyboard or instead use the
touch screen keyboards.
The Samsung Epic 4G does come with a social media integrator known as Social Hub. This feature takes all of your social media accounts such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, and puts them all together in one simple easy to view screen.
The Samsung Epic 4G features a four inch
Super AMOLED display, as do other phones in Samsung’s Galaxy line. This
technology has added touch sensors to the display rather than having a
separate layer. As a result, this phone is the thinnest display on the
market. The Super AMOLED display is configured to need less power which
improves the performance of your battery. The display is also made of
scratch resistant and smudge resistant material.
Like other Samsung phones, the Epic 4G
operates with the Android operating system. In this case, it is the 2.3
version also known as Gingerbread. The device also relies on Samsung’s
trademark TouchWiz user interface.

the Epic 4G uses a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor. This makes navigating
through screens, as well as performing tasks, very fast indeed.
